Four-Step Standardized Shipping Packaging Process
Immediate Protection for Castings Upon Removal from the Production Line
After the castings are removed from the machine, quickly remove flash and burrs while they are still warm, and evenly spray them with rust-preventive oil to form a protective film. This prevents oxidation and corrosion of the aluminum alloy surface and ensures that the parts retain their original surface condition before proceeding to the next stage.
Layered Isolation and Fixation
Depending on the complexity of the casting’s shape, custom vacuum-formed trays, EVA-lined slots, or tiered metal racks are used for physical separation. Key contact surfaces are padded with pearl cotton or silicone corner protectors to prevent surface scratches caused by workpieces colliding with each other during transport.
Tiered Outer Packaging Solutions
Small and standard-sized items are packed in high-strength export-grade corrugated cardboard boxes filled with bubble wrap; medium and large items are secured on fumigated solid wood pallets using corrugated cardboard slots for positioning; and heavy and irregularly shaped items are secured directly in foldable metal crates using elastic straps to prevent shifting, ensuring the safe transport of products of various weights.
Box Sealing and Reinforcement, and Labeling
The outer carton is reinforced with plastic-steel strapping in a crisscross pattern, and a shipping label is affixed to a prominent location on the carton. The label includes the product model, lot number, quantity, net weight/gross weight, country of origin, “Fragile” and “Keep Dry” symbols, and supports QR code scanning for traceability to ensure accurate matching of incoming and outgoing inventory information.

Before each batch of products is shipped, it undergoes a comprehensive inspection of appearance, dimensions, and surface finish quality; only after a quality inspection pass label is affixed may the products proceed to the packaging stage.
Rust Prevention Standards
All castings are treated with the appropriate rust-preventive oil or solution based on their material and storage duration; aluminum alloy parts are treated with a water-soluble rust inhibitor to meet rust prevention requirements for storage periods of six months or longer.
Traceable Label Information
Each outer package is labeled with a unique lot number, enabling end-to-end traceability from the raw material lot to the shipment date, and meeting the IATF 16949 traceability requirements for the automotive parts industry.
Loading and Securing Guidelines
In accordance with the principle of "heavy items do not press down on light ones, and large items do not press down on small ones," inflatable cushioning airbags are inserted between the metal crates and wooden pallets, and the cargo is secured inside the van using straps and dividers to prevent shifting and collisions during transport.
